Hi, my name is Sridhar Krishnamoorthy (college nickname Sparrow), born in India but have lived in many countries. I have always been moving around even as a child. I did my first standard in Kolkata, 2nd in Mysore, 3rd in Madras, 4-5-6 in Salem, 7-8 in Madras and 9-10 in Shillong. Did my pre-university in Madras Christian College.
After my undergraduate degree in IIT Madras, and a few years of work in Pune, my nomadic journey continued – spending 4 years in Thailand, 6 years Australia, 4 years in Kazakhstan, 2 years Dubai, 6 years in China, 6 years in Abu Dhabi and since 2013 in Bangalore, India.
I pursued a career in engineering and management, but my real passion has been immersing myself in different cultures, learn different languages and comparing experiences from one place to another. I speak about 8 languages and now trying to write and read Kannada.
I love writing but did not do much other than documenting some observations and experiences, infrequently. Now since I am no longer working 9 to 5, I am having more time to pursue what I like.
My journey has taught me the importance of perseverance, appreciating people of all background and cultures and the values of respect for a fellow human being. Love travel, music, sports, pets (dogs in particular) and hope to share my insights and experiences with you.
As a family we have lived in all these countries and travelled in many more and each trip brings in new learning, new experiences and some key moments to cherish. These I have tried to capture in my bolgs.

Anju who is 7 is a recued street dog and has added immense joy to our lives. She has a strong character and there is a section where I have tried to capture some nice moments of Anju and her interactions with us and others. Anju says Woof!
